your functional nutritionist
My story isn’t linear
& that’s why it’s real
I know what it’s like
I’ve lived through the pain of endometriosis, the brain fog that made learning feel impossible, the weight gain that clung on no matter how clean I ate, and the joint pain that made getting out of bed feel like a battle. I’ve stared in the mirror and cried over melasma—those dark, blotchy patches on my cheeks that no serum could fade.
I’ve endured nights without sleep... and days fueled only by willpower. And I know what it’s like to lose not just your energy, but your sense of self.
That’s why I created Your Functional Nutritionist - to be the guide I once needed.

a book changed my life.
a hysterectomy changed it again.
Built a practice for women like you & me.

I’m not selling a fairy tale. I’m offering a roadmap - real, honest, rooted in science, soul, and support.

I Was a Hot Mess (Literally, Hormones).
Before
182 Pounds
Tired. Bloated. Snapping at everyone. Craving carbs, fuelled by cortisol. I knew something was off, but my labs said “normal.” Sound familiar?

After
130 Pounds
Clearer skin. Calmer moods. Better sleep. More energy and grace for myself and others. Healing isn’t linear; it’s the real deal. And possible.
Ready for your After?
Let’s talk.Why Functional Nutrition?
Because women 35+ deserve more than vague advice and another bottle of iron pills.
When I was dismissed, I kept digging.
I asked better questions.
I decided to rebuild.
I needed root-cause answers,
not symptom silencing.
I poured myself into understanding hormones, digestion, inflammation, and the real science behind aging well. I was a seasoned marketing and communications specialist. I went back to school to study holistic nutrition while navigating cognitive fog, sleep loss, and joint pain that made even sitting still hard.
It wasn’t easy. It was worth it.
Now, I help other women shorten the struggle and fast-track their return to clarity, vitality, and self-trust.

Menopause is not a decline; it’s a neurological and hormonal transition into a new phase of life with its own strengths.

A Biological Transition with Purpose
We view menopause as a meaningful biological transition, a shift in hormone and neurochemical signalling, not a failure of the body. This phase often supports clarity, leadership, and resilience with the right lifestyle and metabolic support.

Credentials & Clinical Education
This isn’t just a passion—it’s professional.
I earned my Diploma in Holistic Nutrition from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN)—Canada’s premier school for integrative and clinical nutrition.
In one intensive year, I completed what is typically a two-year program, graduating with First Class Honours and a 4.13 GPA. The curriculum was rigorous, covering courses such as biochemistry, pathology, anatomy, hormone health, gut health, clinical symptomatology, nutritional therapeutics, and sports medicine. I didn’t just study the science. I lived it.
Why it matters
You’re not just working with someone who’s read the textbooks. You’re working with someone who rebuilt her life, health, and career while studying the protocols she now brings to you. Your care is informed by...
1. Functional medicine principles
2. Evidence-based nutrition science
3. A systems-based approach to hormonal, metabolic, and gut health
4. Lived experience through the messy middle
Let’s talk about what’s really going on—and what healing could look like.
